why is my 1993 ford explorer still overheating?

i just replaced the water pump and serpintine belt as well as completely flushed out the
radiator but it's still overheating.

Did you change the thermostat? If it sticks open or closed it will overheat. Is it really overheating or just saying so via the gauge? Could be the temp sending unit or the gauge? Is there a 50/50 coolant mix? Plain water or 100 percent anti-freeze will also cause it to overheat.
