how do I unstick my gear shift

want come out of park when i press the break

Try the brake light switch, that is the trigger to release it. easy way to check is hit the brakes and have someone watch and tell you if the brake lights light up.

The neutral switch could be bad it is above your brake pedal it's a safety neutral switch or may be the rely

shift lock solenoid..start tearin console apart if on column find out where located and start digging for it !! good luck
