I have had this van for about 4 years. In the four years I have had to replace the TCM, then a new engine, and now a new PCM. The van ran fine before I replaced the ECM. It hasn't been driven much due to lack if current state inspection. Is this something common or should I be concerned?

Sounds like either some carbon build-up burning off of the valves, or another issue. Does the smoke smell sweet at all, like antifreeze? Could be a head gasket. Could also be some stuck valve stem seals or something else allowing oil down into the cylinders. This is common when a vehicle has sat for awhile. Typically, a rich fuel mixture will burn black, not white.

My 2003 T&C is puffing white smoke out of the engine and tailpipe and it also started overheating. It has a new cylinder block installed a year ago. The smoke smells like plastic melting.

I have oil in my gas but the engine itself is running really well still. I don't have a white or blue smoke coming out of my muffler. There is very little car shake.

2008 chrysler town and country 3.3 already replaced the water pump and thermostat. But sometimes it blows out cool air and sometimes it needs water. What else could it be.it is not over heating.
