Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2006 Jeep Commander engine turns over but will not start.  When I spray starter fluid into
the throttle body it starts and runs well.  I have to repeat the process when I turn off the
engine.  I believe its lacking fuel for starting.  It has spark because it starts with starter
fluid, and both spark and fuel because the engine runs well after it has started.  So what
could be causing the lack of fuel upon starting- if in fact that is the problem?

Thanks, will check fuel pressure. In the mean time, I checked the DTC and had no codes, and the it now starts with no problems. The problem I have is intermittent.

it would be awsome if you could check th fuel pressure while you are having a no start. if fuel pressure is good throughout, test the injectors.
