I'd make sure that your battery is newer than five years old...modern battery materials degrade ten percent per year, five years = old man...weak....not sufficient amperage tho voltage may be okay...get a NEW battery a good one NAPA, Interstate, Duramax...a good one....assure the end of the black cable what connects to the chassis/ground gets wirebrushed down to metal and the lug too so that pulling the 300 cold cranking amps can happen to pull that motor 'round and 'round.....get a NEW battery~final word---judge_roy

I would almost say there is an open condition in the B+ circuit. If the battery was low the PRNDL would have a box around it and flicker when cranking.

Did you replace the transfer case yourself? A family member? A garage? Ask the people who just did the work- Musta got messed up somehow

Its my friends truck I'm researching for him LoL but he replaced it himself! He has tryed putten a new battery in....checked & replaced a couple sensors! We are just stumped on what it could be! He towed it off the mountain & it would start it would start when it was sitten in the driveway but now there nothen! It will change transmission gears without the brake applied or on the box around the PRND32 isn't there either!
