jumping off battery on s430 mercedes will not start car.Is there a fuse on starter

I jumped off car and it started.I went to move it again.All lights and dash board light up,but will not start with jumper cables attached.

no fuse on the starter- that electric motor requires a direct line from the battery- 2 things- one: if your battery is dead, replace the battery- two: using jumper cables is dangerous- to your health and to the electronics in your car- that is a nice Benz- find a good MB mechanic-

first of all I had the same problem with my s430 on the right side of the front passenger seat. right under the carpet should be a place for you to jump your car. the thick red wire on the left side runs directly to your battery which is positive. if you hook the positive to the thinner cable which is right next to the thicker cable that's the one to jump your car.. then you plug the ground wirw right above the cable there shoud be a piece of metal that sticks right out that's where the ground should be hooked on too.. your car should jump then. hope you find this info helpful
