I let my s430 MB battery go dead. I recharged the battery and now the key will not turn? how do I fix?

2002 s430 MB. Ignition key  will not turn??

You might be experiencing torque lock when the steering wheel is turned slightly when the key was turned off. Insert the key while turning the steering wheel, from one side to the other, that will help release the locking column.

Check fuse F78 located in the cockpit fuse box. This fuse box is on the right side of your dash under a plastic cover. The plastic cover clips in and requires no tools to remove. the 7.5 fuse may be blown and this will cut power to the ignition lock.
