where are the fuse boxes on a 1997 mercedes S420?

The fuses will most likely be located either in the engine bay (driver's side I think), on the side of the dash where the door contacts it (driver's side again I believe), or in the trunk on either side. Hopefully that helps.

Yeah, its on the driver's side, under the hood, just remove the black cover, very easy. It's towards the back firewall.
