how can i get to the battery if the power is not working and the key does not turn in the trunk

Open the bonnet / hood - on the inner wing close to the bulkhead you will find a plastic box about the size of a matchbox with a red '+' on it, the top will flip up to expose a terminal. Connect your positive jump lead here and the negative lead to an engine earthing point. you should now have power to use the key button or the interior button to open the bootlid.

Had to take the passenger floor board off to get to a jump start connection
