Radio install

Asked by Baltimore42 May 25, 2017 at 10:45 AM about the 2004 Chevrolet Suburban 1500 Z71 4WD

Question type: Car Customization

I have a 04 Z71. I put a new radio in.
But I didn't have enough money to buy
all the stuff. So I bypassed the factory
amp by cutting the speaker wires and
ran them straight to the radio. But when
I hooked my battery backup the motor
started making noise.do any body know
what is wrong. Thanks very much

"Cutting factory wires" is almost NEVER a good idea. Undo what you did.
