I'll address 2 things here. Call the dealer with your VIN # and ask about the master switch recall. See if yours is included. The rough idle or dying is due to the new battery OR newly charged battery after a year of sitting. Computer thinks the throttle body is nice and clean. Remove fuses #10 and #28 under the hood and remove your throttle body. Clean with a product like Seafoam. Your computer will soon relearn, your idle will be fine when AC or Defroster are turned on.
