Can anyone tell me where the oil pressure sender is on a 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara JLX 4WD?

Asked by Lori Nov 10, 2015 at 10:58 PM about the 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara JLX 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Having issues with my oil light
blinking on & off non stop. I've
changed the oil, oil filter, etc. It has
enough oil in it, so someone
suggested I check/change the oil
pressure sender.  I just cant locate it!!!

It’s on the right side of the engine near the oil filter. It’s a 22mm you need Box end wrench. Most easily accessible from underneath, contrary to the service manual you don’t need to remove exhaust manifold to reach it with a long box end.

It can be hard to spot tho, but you will see it from underneath, about same height as oil filter. Between oilfilter and power steering I believe.
