How do I replace the oil pump in my 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara JLX 4WD?

The oil light blinks off & on, even after I changed the oil, replaced the
oil filter and filled the oil back up. So, my next step is to change the
oil pump.

I would change the oil pressure sender first. Either that or use a mechanical oil pressure gauge to measure the oil pressure.

Look near the AC compressor. It will look something like this -
