Problems after engine swap

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Swapped my 06 2.2L with an 05 which only
has 105000 miles on it, started fine drive it
around block and looked down to see my
speedo wasn't registering, then wouldn't
shift out of 1st gear, then it started spitting
and sputtering. Any ideas? I'm desperate.
Lol.

Sounds like the transmission is in limp mode and it sounds like the speedo cable isnt pushed completely into the transmission
