2003 Santa fe, it's got 160,000 and my gear lights don't go on.

Have anybody gone through this befor? And what did you do fix this, also like my heating
dial and other stuff that are right around that console

Have you checked the fuses for your panel lighting? It could be just a fuse or two, or it could be burnt out bulbs, or it could be a cut wire inside the console near the shift lever where everything moves and can rub or cut a wire that wasn't properly routed and attached.
