2003 Hyundai Santa Fe

Asked by Shan_non24 Jan 03, 2016 at 07:11 AM about the 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe 2.4L FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have an 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe that I purchased
from a buy here pay here, used car lot, when I test
drove it, it ran good, but it made this noise as if it
was trying to get use to running, I guess because it
hasn't been driven in a while. So after driving it the
noise I was hearing went away. Now that I have the
car it will start but around 2-3 pm in the evening the
car would stop running, the lights and everything
will come on, but when I turn it to start it will not
turn over. What could the problem be? An switch to
turn the car on and off?

I'd have the batter checked, use car lots do not like replacing batteries if they don't have to.
