Replced cracked head. Motor runs rough skips
+takes a long time to idle down.

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. Check all the vacuum hoses.

Checked didn't find any . check engine light comes on at idle if driven over10-15 min.

Thanks have to borrow.will have it &check tomorrow checked it when we put it back together. Thought it was right.at this point I'm lost. Was told by a friend 97 vetted had this motor and had a prob with w/temp sensors causing gas mixture to get way off. Thanks will ck timing -n-repost tomorrow
