VW Touraeg VS BMW X5

Asked by Antoinette Sep 18, 2018 at 06:34 PM about the BMW X5

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Looking to purchase one of these used vehicles
with a clean car fax , decent mileage and between
03 and 08 models. Which would you suggest
would be cheaper on maintenance?.....Also, heard
a couple rumors that VW was made by Honda, true
or false?

Neither will be cheap on maintenance. Plan on setting aside a couple of thousand a year to keep them properly running correctly. Being DIY friendly will also help your wallet, join the online forums for those models and do some searching. You will get a general idea of what to expect.
