Check the LED next to the clock. When you switch the ignition to the "ON" position the LED with come on for about two seconds and then go out. This signals the PATS system is OK. If it stays ON or Flashes quickly and then flashes up a code. Its possibly the PCM or transceiver/key reader. These can be repaired.
