I recently purchased a 1980 911SC - it has an instrument cluster with white facing and a 140 mph speedometer - I take it this is not original?

Even if the instrument cluster was reduced to a sundial. The car is still a 911 SC, one of the most durable 911's in history.

thanks - interesting tho the speedometer face is not calibrated in kilometers, only in mph - and then to 150 (not 140).... maybe as you say grey market or maybe an after market modification by somebody who didn't like the 85mph dial which came with the car....
