dead window motor you will probably have to get a new assembly either from the dealer, or a scrap yard or online. Online would be your best bet then have a tech savvy person install it. Older modal car door panels are relatively easy to take off usually there is a bolt behind the pull handle and another behind the door open lever then you just slide the door panel upwards. vw did not cheap out like gmc or ford cars with the crappy door plugs they made there door pads easy to remove for servicing.
