Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I can remove the key from my 2017 Chevy Traverse  (new to me - just bought
this car) while the car is still running.....feature or flaw?? Seems strange.

Most likely the key is just worn. If you have a spare key, that wasn't used as much, it probably won't come out unless the ignition lock is in the locked position. If it's a concern for you, have your local Chevrolet Dealer use your VIN to cut new keys and program them to the vehicle. Hope that helps! Jim
