Low range light is on ...wont disengage out of low

This is more of a question is not an answer I've been trying to figure out how to go by doing with my 99 Durango it reaches a certain temperatures which is 84 degrees it shuts off it has a 5.2 liter in it I already have change the coolant control sensor camshaft sensor crankshaft sensor and it's still daughter from time to time or can core pack cause it to cut out thank you for your time

Hello, I've had the same issue on my 2008 Dodge Durango. Was stuck in sand for a while pulled out and the 4 low wouldn't disengage along with traction off even if its just on AWD. Solution: Run it neutral and the 4low will slip off to normal.

Try tapping top of selector switch a bit hard. I have been doing that for a year and it always works. I have new switch to install one day

My Durango citadel AWD started clicking from the transfer case about a week ago. Monday, I tried to shift it to low and back to auto trying to fix it and it then would not come out of low. After some searching, I bought a transfer case control module and today replaced it. Truck is fixed and took 5 minutes. The part was 183 at Rock Auto and is located under the driver seat
