How to reset my 2001 bmw 330ci computer

Its cuz my transmission of my bmw is
in lip mode what can i do

How do you reset the Transmission. What is the procedure and equiotment to do this reset.? NOTE: I put the trans in Manual mode using the console Auto/Manual mode button. And it has come back to life so far after being inoperative to the point the prior owner sold it as broken.

you have to use a computer scaner the can reset the check engine light and the transmission light a.k.a clear all the code from the computer. the codes that wont clear are the ones you need to focus on
