Have two fobs, one hasn't worked for a while...now the other just suddenly stopped.  Batteries are OK.  Power locks work find.

If they get dropped even once really hard it can mess up the fob. Any liquids spilled on it will harm them. Take the battery out and see if the small metal tab is in place and still making contact with the battery.

Haven't been dropped, that I am aware of. No spills. Replaced the battery and checked that tab, actually bent it up a little to be sure. So none of those are the issue. And I can't find a fuse for the remote receiver system in the car? It was with me and it locked the doors when I went in a place today. 10 minutes later when leaving wouldn't open the doors....dead ever since.

Ok, well it might be as simple as they need to be reprogrammed.

i have the same problem and i am also getting the message "KEY FOB BATTERY LOW" which is not true since I replaced it twice!!! So frustrated! how do i reprogram it? I have to use the replacement KEY instead of the fob to start it and unlocking - alarm goes off every time. My neighbors probably want to choke me!
