Hello. I have a 1989 Chevy 1500 4x4 with a 350 efi and I was wondering if the parts will swap over to a gen 1 350 bare block (it has heads can crank and pistons I just need to swap the top)

I would assume that your end goal is to install the older motor into the '89 with the trucks stock EFI!! As long as you move the intake manifold from the '89 to the older motor everything will work. The spark and fuel are dependant on the sensors on the TBI the coolant temp in the intake manifold and the pick-up coil and ICM in the dist. About the only things I can think of is you will need a block off plate to where the mechanical fuel pump goes and to attach the knock sensor (1/4" npt, the TBI block has a blank threaded hole. You may have to drill and tap one in a meaty section of the block or build a bracket to secure it to the block another way). Andrew I believe your thinking of the vortec intake/heads.
