1992 Mitsubishi Pajero 2.5td auto transmission problem

Hi
I recently bought this Pajero and the transmission it seems to have a
problem, it  is stuck in the 1st gear, I already checked the fluid and filter and
it is all fine, it goes on reverse just fine but when I put it on Drive mode it is
not shifting.
Did anyone had this problem before?
How can I solve it?

Sounds like an issue with your shift solenoids (not guaranteed that's the solution, but best guess as to what circuit
