My 1996 Mitsubishi Pajero won't move in gear D.

Hi, of recent, my 1996 Automatic
transmission Mitsubish Pajero has
showed a misbehaviour. Mostly in the
morning when I start the car put gear to
D; the car is not moving. it does this
also when am passing on the elevated
areas. What could be the source of this
problem and how can I resolve this?  
Please help. Ika.

it sounds as if your torque converter has had it you can either rebuild the converter or better still replace it with a recon 1 would recomend you contact mjm4x4 specialist on ebay for a price one warning it wont be cheap
