96 Acura tl makes a loud taping clicking knocking sound coming from engine

I can hear a slight noice when the car is idel. When i press the gas pretel i dont hear it but as soon as i release it i does it loudly...I can also hear it when the cars in park and idel but it is loudst after i have been pressing the gas pedel and then release it. Any help it sounds like maby lower engine.

I checked the oil today and it was low 1 qt so i filled it still makes sound...also would like to know if you answer please let me know if its an easy fix by a mecanic or not.

if it is your oil pump,yes probley a total rebuild,have your mechanic check it first.

did u check ur exhaust pipe where its connected 2 d engine or better still try n check d oil level after u park d car after 1hr,if its low dat means it leakin somewhere,call ur mechanic straight up!!!!
