2018 Toyota RAV4 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

I had been looking for a 2016-2018 Toyota rav4 for the last year. In my research for the suv to suit my needs, I found the rav4 to be consistently rated at the top of its class in reliability, safety and performance. The 2018 rav4 limited that I ultimately purchased had all the features I wanted, plus more. With low milage, a great history and its features, I found it to be a tremendous value, that both meets and exceed my needs.May 15, 2024

Love the ride and handling. Gas mileage is better than the EPA average at least where and how I drive. The info-tainment system is great and easy to learn. Only deficit I could mention is it could have a few more cubbies for storage or holding items but that said the glove compartment storage is very generous. Overall we are very satisfied so far with this vehicle and would recommend it to anyone looking to purchase a sub SUV.Dec 09, 2022

Like the vehicle very rides smooth has all the bells and whistle, the feature that it can read you your email and text messages, Im sure it has more features to discover and Im looking forward in discovering them. for a small SUV it has a lot get up power to pass other vehicles on the road when needed. Only disappointment is it didnt come with remote start, but I can add that sometime in the near future.Jun 06, 2021

For a 4 cylinder, it is very powerful and has a lot of get up and go. It handles like a dream. I would compare it to the Subaru Crosstrek or the Outback but a more comfortable and smoother ride. Also the Honda CR-V. While I know the Honda Pilot does amazing on my road, I was concerned the CR-V wouldnt have the power. I live 1.5 miles up a dirt road and I get snow. Good resale value, reliable car, good engine and transmission, more space compared to similar compact suv, exterior styling is good, interior is a bit more conservative, OK to drive, not engaging, lacks some amenities which are available in competition, interior material is basic plastic. Good for someone who wants a reliable crossover and willing to compromise on some bells and whistles.Feb 11, 2021

I like that in the back there is massive room and a big rubber mat, plus it came with rubber mats in the 1st and 2nd row also. The backup camera is great and I really like the great mileage, I avg. 31.5 MPG, it also shows what mph you are getting while you drive, that helps a lot in keeping the foot from pushing so hard on the gas pedal. It has plenty of get up when needed though.Jan 10, 2021

It is a great car, apparently, for reliability and longevity, but it is terrible for comfort. The front seats are reasonable, for a car half the price. The back seats remind me of the bench seats available on old military transport trucks, without the air ride suspension. Toyota apparently applies a hefty surcharge based on how long their car lasts without thinking of how much one will spend at a chiropractor fixing the issues caused by the terrible seating positions. No wonder kids these days have back and hip pain.Sep 01, 2020
