2016 Toyota 4Runner Reviews, Pricing & Specs
What owners say
"Overall, drivers are very impressed with the 2016 Toyota 4Runner, praising its reliability, power, and features. Many owners appreciate the comfortable ride and spacious interior, while also noting the vehicle's impressive towing capabilities. However, some drivers mentioned it can be a bit pricey and lacking certain modern amenities like USB ports and advanced safety features. Despite these concerns, the 4Runner is frequently highlighted for its strong resale value and long-lasting performance."
I love everything about my car, it is the perfect trim above base model and comes with everything I wanted. The car comes with incredible value and I know I would be able to sell it 10 years down the line and still get a lot for it. But I’m going to keep this car until the wheels fall off.
May 24, 2026Feels like driving a Cadillac so smooth this is a 4 wheel drive vehicle (2H, 4H, 4L ) all blk leather interior has a nice stereo sound system
June 7, 2026Bulletproof motor and drive train. Overall great SUV that will last .

June 25, 2022Best vehicle ever! Cant beat the dependability or reliability
April 23, 2022This is a solid vehicle. There are some minor issues that are all covered under the extended warranty except a broken taillight. The entire light assembly is 129$ and extremely easy to replace. The inside looks like its barely been used at 97k miles. Engine sounds good and the power is immediate when you touch the pedal.
September 1, 2021There is no comparison to the Toyota 4Runner. It has all the features I was looking plus some extras I didnt know I would also appreciate, like navigation, back-up camera and plenty of USB ports for the numerous gizmos and gadgets of modern life.
March 14, 2021I think it is a good value for the vehicle. 2 things i wish it had that didnt come with this model is a moon roof and running boards.
October 24, 2022Great reliable fully capable 4wheel drive. I have owned 3rd gen a 4th and now a 5th gen. The interior is simple and seats are comfortable
October 15, 2022Toyotas in general have excellent longevity. 4 runner is at the top of the list.
April 18, 2022This was a great car! My guess is that it was under priced by $6-8000 due to all the extras on it. I will miss not having a USB port in it, however. I compared it to Honda Pilots and Toyota Highlanders. The 4Runner wins out hands down for pulling our 18 travel trailer!!!!!
