I have a 2016 Nissan Rogue I’ve done everything I’m supposed to do with maintenance including getting my transmission drained and refilled spark plugs changed cooling system drained and refilled has fuel maintenance etc… to keep my car up and running it’s best , only to break down an hour after leaving for home from our vacation . Going up hill at about 68-70 mph (speed limit was 75) ROM’s went up and down . Pulled over let car rest. Proceed to get back on hwy the RPM”s stuck at 5rpm my Nissan Rogue wouldn’t accelerate , I would press the Gas pedal and nothing happened rpm’s go up and down finally feathering the gas pedal was able to drive fired going only 55 mph with hazard flashers on actual speed limit was 75 mph (very scary when diesels are speeding by you honking as if you can’t see my flashers. So disrespectful some are). car won’t move. Had to get a tow home 350 miles from home…. Transmission???? I love my car it’s mine. I put so much money and love into my Rogue I should not be having this issue. I’m just sad. LS…… Oct 27, 2024

I love my new to me Rogue. Its a 2016, but I really like the SL features. Leather seats, panoramic sunroof, and the backup camera and computer in general work really well. Not as much get up and go as I would like, but it drives well and is super comfortable. Definitely recommend. Jun 22, 2023

I know Nissans are good vehicles and I’ve had one before, this was a used car with many features with the exception of a working digital screen ( no app to download on earlier models) . Hope we can get this fixed, but overall it’s fine. I would compare it to an Equinox, Escape , Rav 4 or Sportage .Sep 19, 2022

Starting with 2014 models, the Rogue has impressive styling, elegant interior, a nice amount of cargo space, AWD available in all trim levels, and still very good gas mileage of 26 city / 33 highway. Great competitor for Toyota RAV4 and Honda CR-V. Oct 09, 2021

I’ve only drove the 2016 Nissan rogue SL and a 2018 rogue SL and they’re really good vehicles but I only know about the SL model, fully loaded And I Purchased a 2016 Nissan Rogue SL AWD Aug 25, 2021

Very smooth riding vehicle. Haven’t been able to check out all the features yet but everything I’ve been able to use I enjoy. I think the price was a good price for this vehicle. I test drive a GMC Terrain and I found the Nissan to have a more comfortable ride along with more get up and go when accelerating. I also drove the Ford Escape. We purchased the 2016 Nissan Rogue SL from Carbiz in Laurel. It had 44,000 miles on it and we took delivery of it yesterday, 10/28/2020. The care if very clean, rides nicely and has all the features I would expect in the Nissan Rogue SL - moonroof, heated leather seats, 360 camera, lane departure warning, blind spot warning, back-up camera. It is also beautiful with an Artic Midnight Blue exterior and an almond interior.Oct 28, 2020

ive owned a Nissan since 2009 and love the makes. To me the best value here was the low mileage. I traded in a 2009 Rogue which had a sunroof which is really the only feature missing from this 2016.Jun 24, 2020

Nissan Rogue SV 2016 is a great car in its class.
I had a comparison between a this and a Ford Escape 2017. The only reason to choose Nissan over Ford is the interior design in the base model of Nissan is way ahead. Ford comes with a tad more powerful engine, lower mpg and interiors that are way less in the base model.
However, the only feature which I do not like so far is the engine start button on Nissan. Still trying to figure all the electronics and controls as my previous vehicle was way too manual.Jun 24, 2020
