2013 Ford F-150 Reviews, Pricing & Specs

I bought my 13 in 2017. It has been reliable and solid the past 6 years. In MN it handles the snow and ice fine with times needing to use 4WD in harsher weather. It pulls my 16ft boat with ease and also handles my ice castle too. I love the 3.5 engine its powered just right to haul or give you decent fuel economy. Youre not buying this to get 25+ mpg. Ive had general repairs on it. O2 sensors, 3 of which one can easily get to but there is one up above the cat converter which is tough. Replaced one MAP sensor. Otherwise tires and changing the fluids according to their schedule. And this is with putting on almost 90k in the time ive owned it.Sep 02, 2023

good truck, but the rear pinion seal was leaking, the drivers door had been broken into so the key didnt fit, smoked in, cracks in seat and plastic piece broke on side of the seat, nav and backup camera not working, and weird vibration at idle. In all this is about 2k of repairs. The reason I didnt buy was that I thought was too expensive for the repairs needed. This truck will need some love to be a reliable daily driver. There are reasons why it hasnt sold in 40 days. Sep 21, 2021

Love the FX4 package. Interior is stylish, comfortable and roomy. Has a 150w inverter with is great for camping or running small tools. I got the ecoboost, powerful motor good acceleration decent fuel consumption. Not much more I could ask for in a truck. I looked at dodge 1500, Toyota tundra, Nissan titan and kept going back to the Ford. Interior imo is way nicer and more roomy, price is fair for the market.May 07, 2021

This truck is amazing it has the platinum package which has all the bells and whistles, it rides and drives extremely smooth for a truck. The body style and design of the truck are well thought out and look great for what i paid for the truck i think its an excellent value. I dont really know what other truck i could compare it to, to me its in a class all its own.Mar 14, 2021

My 2013 F-150 has been trouble free in the last 43,000 miles. It is roomy, rides good, is quiet and has lots of power. I had considered possibly buying it after the lease is over, but due to all the reported problems with the Ecoboost engine I will lease another F-150 in a year and go with the 5.0 v-8. If Ford ever gets all the bugs out of the 3.5 Ecoboost they will have one of the best engines on the planet.Jan 29, 2015

You wouldn't believe the power of the Eco-boost V6, the towing is best in class, and the handling is superb. The interior feels like a luxury car and has plenty of convenient features. The truck has an impressive stance and exterior, as well as great hauling capabilities. The turbochargers provide great power and fuel economy as well as a wonderful overall driving experience. If you can overlook the lack of sound that comes from the engine, and the fact that the center console holds the shift control, than this is the perfect truck for you. Despite the fact that the shifter isn't where you would expect it to be, it does boast a nice feature: Select-shift, which allows you to change gears manually in addition to having the truck do it on it's own.
