Performance - exceptional in all performance areas
Build Quility - Sturdy construction, but costly if neglected
Appearance - Kind of a sleeper, will run with the big boys yet looks like a ordanary hatch
Cost - fairly expensive on repairs, but overall not too bad
Fun Factor - Tons of fun if you dare to go there!Jan 22, 2013

Very good acceleration, and braking is not due to a quickie includes ABS, not even a good big spending, internal and external appearance are good. the ride is not bad. All in all a very good car with 90 hpMay 25, 2011

mycket bil för pengarna , opel har bättrat sej en stor del sen rost burkarna på 80 o 90 talet, kombi som vi äger lastar bra för att vara en mellanklass bil samt har smarta last lösningar etc då opel fortfarande har ett dåligt rykte då det gäller kvalite såär priserna relativt låga vilket är bra . samt kvalite har ju blivit väldigt mycket bättreOct 24, 2010

the car is easy to drive speacially the easy tronic transmission which gives you the same power of the manual and the comfortability of the automatic ,it's acceleration is not bad comparing with 1.6 enginers ,the stability is amazing specially in corners ,it looks sexy and sporty carOct 09, 2010

it just loves to Go and Go but don't forget it's a diesel car that love's to drink diesel, very smooth on the corners adn slick in a stright line, great for talking a ride on the weekend and to work from monday to friday then just take to a track and let it be in peace.Apr 08, 2010

the car is spacious, gets lots of kilometres pr liter, its a diesel. got it in a really nice price. had low milage when we got it. the car is very good to drive. could reccomend it to anyone actually. ;)Feb 21, 2010

It is really a slow car.. It really needs some engine modifications. Its hardtop can be more solid :) Sometimes it doesnt want to do what you want to do :) It is really economical.. Less gas consumption.. With this car you can feel yourself unconfortable with others look :)Oct 06, 2009

I owned a Coupe-Cabriolet Astra (Twintop) from 2006 to 2009. I fell in love with the styling at the first sight. I would park the car, pull up a chair, sit and smoke a cigarette for hours, watching and admiring it. And I still find myself looking at it's photos from time to time. All the world seems to think like myself because whenever I rode it, people were literally falling inside, drooling over the looks and making oblivious comments. The second I retracted the roof, all hell broke loose! It was impossible not to get embarrassed because of the attention I got. Rear seats were cramped, but who cares anyway. Also the trunk was actually quite large for a cabriolet but I managed to fill it with my sound system and made it practically unusable. So I had a storage problem. But the biggest frustration was it's performance. You get a decent 105hp engine and put it on a 1600kg car and what do you get? Bloody tears. But it had a lot of potential because after you've sped up to 4th gear and beaten the gravity, the car accelerated effortlessly to factory limited 200km/h. I've seen a lot lighter cars that can't do this. Albeit, after chip tuning the engine I was able to get 170nm of torque and it changed the car's performance drastically. It was a lot faster and responsive but still not like my focus.Oct 05, 2009

I love all the extra equipment:
The DVD90 radio with CID (Colour Info Display), navigation system and MP3 player.
The AFL lights, the Recaro seats, the rear mirror which tones the glass to prevent getting blinded, but most of all the moverfull engine with 240 bhp.

It's my pet, my darling, nice looking with a perfect driving performance. If Opel did something very good, so is my Astra. The car is safe, if you do what you are supposed to do :). There is nothing you hate or dislike. It's clear, somebody else say that his car is the best or other type, but I say it due to my expiriences.Oct 28, 2008
