a great all round car, that does what needs to be done.... I've had a lot of great times with it and enjoyed every second of it... the build quality is excellent, however its not a race machine and engine components do take a lot of stress... handing is good for a front wheel drive, though understreer ruins the fun..:)... power is good for a normal aspirated 1800cc engine, it has no problem defending itself against bigger engined cars.... Handling is spot on, the build quality is great after all it has got 127000 km on the clock and still no problems. And the best of all is in December 2009 I will pay my last installment. Thats great.Oct 22, 2009

What I liked about the Opel Astra was its performance, for this car can reach 120 kmph by the end of the second gear, it's price is easy on your pockets. It is the car when you are looking for a cruise around the neighborhood.Sep 12, 2009

Super quality - never more than standard repairs - just like my last Astra. It's a kind of weak motor (1,6 16v) but only on acceleration. Driving on high way is just so silent and comfortable. Being a station wagon it's also very flexible and suitable for our family with 2 adults and 2 children - also when we always needed to bring our baby carriage.Nov 24, 2008

1.7 cdti diesel engine I've driven.
The brakes were pretty amazing, compairable with those of the Mercedes I've driven. Good seat position. In overal an nice ride!Dec 25, 2007
