It pretty much goes anywhere. It has great interior looks as with exterior looks. It's a smooth ride with great handling. And it gets good gas mileage.
May 18, 2008Nissan's XTerra is the same sort of vehicle that the Toyota FJ Cruiser, the Hummer H3, and the Land Rover LR3 are. Except it costs less than all 3, out performs all 3 in terms of acceleration, does as well as any of them off-road, and is built better. Doesn't have the huge visibility problems of the FJ. It's probably the best-looking of them all, as well (especially in white). It's built on the same platform as the Nissan Titan so it's tough and has a very long lifespan. The handling under poor conditions is fantastic -- this winter was bad in terms of winter storms, but it didn't matter one bit to this car.

June 5, 2022The appearance of the Xterra has a aggressive style look to it. Has the power you need to get through any snow or off road terrain. Amazing in snow with its 4-wheel drive. Lots of room inside for the family and running strong to this day
April 1, 2013Performance- This SUV is very peppy and fun to drive on the road. The steering is a bit heavy,but its a heavy vehicle. The buld quality is awesome. Styling is good. Gas mileage is unimpressive. This vehicle can be fun to drive.
August 22, 2009Adore it! Love everything about this truck! Interior material holds up against pets and the exterior is sturdy. Has needed no repairs, just regular maintenance. Can absolutely pick up and go when you need/want it to. Love that it has a First Aid kit with it! Perfect vehicle for someone looking for something sized between a pickup and a car.
August 27, 2008This Litle bad boy as a V6 265 horse power beast inside strong enough to pull my boat. Ride quality is a little bumpy but it's build on a truck frame and it's build to go off road. Very good machine for the price but i would not buy it new , it's $$$$$. Gas Economy is good considering the HP and the size, and compared to my dodge ram well it's easy to beat!!! The interior is great , comfy seat , lots of room ( to carry baby stuff ) and seats fold flat all the way in the front to carry large stuff.A little dificult to get in the back seat very narrow door, great for kids though. Original radio is Excellent with 6 speakers and a sub under the seat, feal like 18 again LOL. I love this vehicule, it does is job very well and as a lot of power to pass does sunday drivers. I rate this vehicule 9/10
August 1, 2009The interior is cloth on all of them, but is still nice and comfortable! Good for long distance, gets like 24mpg. Unique body style, handles great!

December 31, 2007Nissan's VQ engine has won awards continually from the time it was first introduced, and right up until current. The 4.0 liter VQ engine, used in the Xterra, is just as quick as the VQ used in the Z cars, plus it has a longer throw for more low-end torque. You can't beat this engine. Anyone who drives one will instantly fall in love with the performance.
