This is my second Xterra. Love this vehicle. It is solidly built. The ride is comfortable and handles very well. Gas mileage is not great, but this vehicle is safe, fun to drive and will last many years.

XT have a devoted following for good reason. Add a 2-in or 3-in lift and you have a contender with any other serious 4-wheel drive vehicle. The Pro4X model has a locking rear differential and skid plates, but the S model or even a well-built X can service the base for a great outdoor machine at a very reasonable price. There are a lot of city queens out there too though, so you do have to read the specs on each. Extremely well balanced with proper length/width ratio for good stability.
