It had awesome acceleration and handled beautifully around corners at higher speeds. The build was sturdy and rarely needed repairs. The supercharger on this little monster was amazing compared to the newer turbocharged version i tried! As for its appearance.... Its a Mini nuff'said!

Performance is exhilerating with the added engine mods. Handling is second to none, it feels robust. The appearance is a classic with a retro interior. The most fun you can have, with the top down, in its price range. Sometimes repairs can be costly.

Excellent Build Quality; Lovely back pops from twin exhausts; Supercharger whine when under full acceleration; Loads of room in the front;

Good to cruise around in. Pretty decent performance for a car with less than 200 supercharged horsepower.

This is a great car all around- suprising big for such a small apperiance. Tons of fun to drive and good MPG

People are jealous around here and are hostile towards the MINI..Driving a MINI is like no other. Go-kart fun, I'll gladly pay the extra for the high-test gas, and get at least 20mpg. Could even be less because the sport of driving this one outweighs the cost! 1.6 Liter engine not even 39,000 miles on it. I strongly recommend the MINI if you love to drive! Recommend Cobalt undershield as rocks will chew up the Swiss plastic- GPS dominates the cockpit, and would rather know the temperature of the motor, the amount of volts, Amps and Oil Pressure. As it is one must "GO ON FAITH"- guess this will not be an issue until breakdown~

I love this car. I saved for years to be able to afford it. It is light weight, you can park almost anywhere. I always feel in control, it brakes and handles superbly. Definitely worth the money. It is a driving experience!

this car has a great Performance from the get go car fun is fun to drive. this car has a great appearance. We got it with all the chrome trims and it looks great. great in gas. I do not need to be filling up too often... ;-)

This car looks great, i'm always getting second looks. The breaking, acceleration and handling are great as is the gas mileage. The parts seem to last forever! If you like to have fun driving this is the car for you.

Performance: responsive, and tight. extreamly sticky in the turns! breaks super fast! Build Quality: excelent, have not had any issues with cabin noises. Cost of ownership: super cheap! 36 MPG (combo) doesnt need any extra maintenance other than the usual. Fun Factor: its a MINI! need i say more?!?! I recomend this car to anyone under 7ft who has a drivers licence... no excusses!

The mini cooper s jcw is one of the best car ever. It is fast, loud and looks stunning. The power weight ratio is just brilliant and it handles just like a go kart! build quality is good since mini is owned by BMW. the only negative would be the fuel efficiency.All i have gotta say that I just love it

My car is a gorgeous solar red metalic. It has 15" spoke delta wheels and has a super boost on the engine. The car is a 7 and has a fab interior. The sevens down the side of the car really make it stand out. I luuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrvvveeeee it. The suspension is a low sport and it has a sports leather steering wheel. The lights on the chrome dash a a gorgeous deep orange and if it is a little too bright there is a dimmer switch.

The turbo and acceleration of this car is unbelievable! from absolutely no revs at all the torque kicks in and in every gear, doesn't push up to top end as enthusiastically though. Good brakes, steering talks to you and gives confidence, very solid, good german build quality.

Love it, it is an amazing drive! The sound of the super charger is awesome!

Fun to drive, great on gas, looks so good and is surprisingly fast. Just be careful of potholes and steep driveways, with 4 inches of ground clearance, its sensitive. Too, reliable but if you do need repairs, they are so expensive. Still LOVE Mini Coopers!

We have had this car since it was brand new and love it. It is a super-fun way to travel, especially if you spend time in urban areas. Of course, it's not suited for a large family, nor for cargo, but you probably knew that already! It has handling and German build quality comparable to cars twice its price!

The only thing they could have done was to tighten up the steering.... they tried too hard to make it too much like a BMW which was mistake considering that people who drive a MINI should appreciate the fun in motoring.. not to say it's not fun to motor, it just needs to have tighter steering... overall though I really like it...

Great acceleration. Well built car. Very strong brakes, hugs turns like a champ, and shifts very smooth, if you know a standard transmission. Just some minor (very) sqeaks, nothing big. Looks awesome. Amazingly good gas mileage. This car is absolutely a blast to drive, whether around town, or anywhere. Love It

It's a fun car that goes fast, handles amazingly well and gets good gas mileage. Also the insurance is considered a compact economy car so it's inexpensive to insure. I really love my car, and as with any car there are always some problems, but everything has been minor.

This car would seem to be cramped however the Mini Cooper offers plenty of room even with the top up. Plus the tight suspension with the whining supercharger makes this car a pleasant performer!

It's a go-cart on steroids. Lots of fun. You can really customize different aspects of the car.

Quick, responsive, holds the road, fun to drive. Gas mileage around 30mpg on the highway. I've had the car for 3more than 3 years and nothing's gone wrong. Needed new tires - but part my fault for not having them rotated.

Like the Cockpit feel and look, steering wheel, handling, wipers, headlights, braking, fuel economy, and date night car. The size and location of the two cup-holders, and cig/charger location could be tough to get used to, but not sure if any thing could help here except getting the cup-holder accessory.

There is a handful of cars that look very different from anything else on the road. They attract attention mostly for their snappy styling, the Mini Cooper Convertible is one of them. Solid BMW design and manufacturing, from the serious convertible top. It's fully automatic, requiring only the push of a button to stow it, and has a glass window, to the firm drive and great tight turns.

best purchase i've ever made! it's also my first. its so tiny on the outside, but once in the cockpit, there is tons or room. its a tiny car with big time luxury. its a little rocket! i love this car and will keep it forever.

Ever since the 2003 auto show in NY I have wanted one of these. This car holds the road like you wouldn't believe. The car has a huge following. I've been to events at Lime Rock which have been awesome.

amazing power for a car like this.it looks and feel very solid and strong for a 1600 cc car. never underestimate anything small. they can give you surprises. try this beast in disguise it's really gonna rock you. but a little expencive to feed her. she keeps asking for more speed the more she asks the more she drinks.

A great fun car that is soooooooo special to drive in the sun ((or night)) with the roof down. Drives like a go-cart and ever so nimble...point it where you want to go and it zips you there. Funky - body coloured interior is a must!!! So are heated seats!

Ever wanted to drive a luxurious go-cart with airbags? this is it! Although I'd imagine the 'S' model would be much faster and have better acceleration, the base mini is a bit dull. HOWEVER, it totally doesn't matter. You know those hair-pin turns on the on-ramps to get on a highway? most cars you'd have to slow down to handle the turn, not the MINI, with this car you can accelerate through it without any loss of control. The car is low to the ground and has a wide stance, allowing for the best handling of any car in it's class. The car is also quite roomy despise its name. 2 grown adults in the front and two smaller adults or children in the back could easily find this car suitable for carpooling. Also very safe and secure, and solid, it feels like a tank. I can't wait to drive the 'S' model!

This car is so fun! They are known to have mechanical problems and are hard to work on, but I dont anticipate problems as long as they are maintained. The supercharger makes it sporty. Manual 6 speeds are better than automatic.

Supercharged, great performance, its like a go kart on crack, a true BMW under the hood, this thing flies. No Problems, and no cost of ownership so far, I do all the maintenance. I get about 23-25 mpg in the city, and around 30 on the highway, not too bad for a sportscar!
