We, especially my wife, loves the smaller size of the Optima as compared to her old 1999 Buick Century. Although the ride was a bit smoother in the Buick (a plus for most mid size Buick sedans due to more weight) the Kia still holds it's own and seems to be quicker in cornering, accelerating, and stopping. Both vehicles were pretty close in accessories and amenities. However, the smaller Kia has a big advantage in parking and fuel consumption, which is to be expected. I dislike the automatic transmission, it takes away from the power of the motor. The car gets around thirty miles to the gallon, and generally runs on any type of gas. I is a fun driver and I drive it everyday to and from work. Aug 07, 2012

It is a small car, I have a family of 5 way to small with growing boys, great car if you like a small car. Nice gas mileage and price, not the deluxe package, but decent inside!!!! Cd player, power windows and locks.Feb 20, 2012
