loved the fastness of it how easy it is to maintain and the fully loaded features.its a fun car to drive especially since it is a police car and is known to drag attention and alot of people would see a man in it but instead it was a woman only 4'11 operating it.Apr 12, 2015

Safe vehicle, with adequate highway / cruising power. Particularly well soundproofed. Build quality is strong, and beats the Toyota Camry for value, and lower maintenance costs than imports. It has been more dependable than my former Ford Taurus. Good all-round visibility, and electric seats easily adjust to different driver heights.Mar 29, 2015

The impala is comfortable and has a roomy layout. It is well suited for business trips and family vacations alike. Excellent in all weather conditions. Economic to maintain. Great family car - seats 6, with 3 seats of car seat hooks, lots of trunk space. Solid car body allows for smooth turns and quality snow handling - no issues with snow drigts here in Washington State. I have enjoyed this car.Aug 28, 2014

Love the AC, cruise control, heated leather seats, overall power and performance. Very comfortable and love the sunroof. Still looks great after almost 10 years (and I bought this when it was 4 years old). Have 143k on it too! Planning on replacing only because my youngest needs a car.Apr 16, 2014

This is a Car I would have my Kids Drive I would not worry about going across country in this Vehicle. Room, comfort, reliable and solid. Occupant safety is a big selling point for the Impala. In crash tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Impala earned five stars (out of five) for both the driver and front passenger in frontal impact testing, and four out of five stars in side-impact testing. In frontal offset crash testing, the Impala earned a "Good" rating, the highest possible. Anti-lock brakes and traction control are standard on the LS and SS, and optional on the base model. Purchased this vehicle as a company vehicle, it has proven to be great on the highway,amazingly good in slippery conditions and really good fuel economy. The V6 has really good pickup with great midrange torque for passing. After 100,000 miles the seats are holding up nicely and all the electronics wok well, very comfortable for long trips. 3.5 liter front wheel drive version fully moded with the leather an sun an sound package, supposed to get 31 on highway got 28 cause of the add on's. 4 person managable 5 tight. golden color that was a real eye catcher over the pewter.Dec 20, 2012

This is a very spacious car that is great for families or anyone who needs extra space. Has excellent stereo sound and quality speakers. It is easy to maintain so I have had no complaints on this one at all.Nov 26, 2012

I always liked the looks of the LS, & SS I was realy surprised to see how well this car rides & drives. Alot nicer then I thought it would be. The aceleration is very good. Still watching the gas mileage, but so far not bad.May 16, 2012

It's reliable and gets fairly good gas mileage. It also has a lot of leg room on the inside in both the front and back seats. It's just your basic sedan but it will get you where you need to go.Apr 20, 2012

A middle of the road car in about everything. Very comfortable, but very poor handling. It is just a mediocre Chevy sedan. Looks better with the larger sportier wheels, spoiler, and tinted windows. Being the base model, it just has an average V6.Mar 21, 2012

I can't complain. I haven't found anything I don't actually like about this car. It is reliable and very fuel efficient. It's roomy enough for the whole family and doesn't cost me a fortune in repairs! Smooth ride and great handle. The 3.4 liter v6 is surprisingly strong! Would recommend this car to anyone and would buy another one myself!Feb 19, 2012

This car is fun to drive. Has a lot of power because of the police interceptor so it does make it faster. The driver side fender and headlight needs fixed because of an accident which did not cause any mechanical damage to the car. I do plan on getting those fixed as soon as possible because I can get it done for cheap. It is around 17mpg. It drives smoothly and doesnt shake on the highway.Mar 01, 2011

Wanted to modify this 05 3.4l impala so it didnt look like all the rest. Added the tinted winows, upgraded the tires by one size larger, added an ss spoiler along with a license plate filler. To help with performance i added a custom fenderwell intake and added a gmpp cat-back dual exhaust with flowmaster 40 series mufflers.Nov 05, 2010

I like my car. Its pretty and it doesn't drink gas. fun to drive, but feels heavy. Its wasn't expensive or anything. The car is comfy and pretty big. Its easy to park, but its beg so parallel parking can get tricky. So, its a fun car. The speedometer broke recently, and it gets finicky when I try to start it.Sep 08, 2010

I bought it because I was driving around 50,000 miles per year and needed something that was physically comfortable and got decent gas mileage on the freeway (30mpg). So far I had to put in a new time flux capacitor and some work on the transmission. I put in a new K&N air filter, TOTALLY worth the 42$, this truly helped get rid of some of the sluggishness.Sep 05, 2010

The Impala has decent acceleration unless you going from 30 to 55. it has good handling and can take some good curves at around 55. The model I drove had front wheel drive, so it gets pretty good milage. It doesnt look very sporty and it kind of feels like you should be a senior citizen to have one. But it seats six, so if youre looking for a family sedan, the Impala isnt a bad choiceAug 08, 2008

I've always wanted this car and when i got it, i feel in love with it. The supercharged 3800 hauls balls in town and stills gets 20 mpg, also a lot of fun highway, an amazing car in my eyes. I also like the 17's on it, not too big, not too small.Jul 25, 2008

Handles very nicely... accelerates smoothly, Interior is clean. Gets great gas mileage. I love driving it, whether its around town or on the highway doing 30 over the speedlimit ..Not overly expensive for its luxery. Definately worth the debt. For now that is ... I love this car! Its is soo fast and it rides like a dream! it doesnt have a body kit and it has a 6 cylinder engine. It has new tires and it doesnt use up rubber as quickly as others. It has nice rims and it has a very stong exterior. So if you get in a car accident you wont get hurt.Jun 27, 2008

This car is so freak'n ugly! Those tail lights that tried to be a retro through back did NOT work! That being said this is a great car if you want to be seen in it. I had all the bells and whistles, leather, moon roof, everything and it was great on the freeway. I drove it Virginia Beach Virginia to Protland Oregon to Calgary Canada and never had a problem with it. The engine is bulletproof!Jan 31, 2008
