2018 Kia Optima Reviews, Pricing & Specs

What owners say
"Overall, owners of the 2018 Kia Optima appreciate its smooth ride, comfort, and good fuel economy, often comparing it favorably to competitors like the Toyota Camry. They particularly like the spacious interior and updated tech features. However, some drivers noted missing features like fog lights and remote start, and there are concerns about specific mechanical issues."
Practical, spacious and everything I need all in one vehicle.
November 1, 2025The Kia Optima has a very smooth ride and easy to handle. The A/C is very cold. The car is also very comfortable and the back seat has plenty of leg room for all three teenagers.
July 23, 2021It is missing Fog Lights, Moon roof, Remote starter, and no SiriusXm radio.

August 23, 2020The car had engine problems. Los of compression.
July 3, 2024Really like the vehicle, it has almost all the features I wanted. It drives like it should and is comfortable, nice sound system, and looks good. I thought it had Auto-Start but was mistaken it dont. (Disappointed with that - but my fault for not asking - so ASK!).
October 2, 2023Great overall vehicle. Great gas milage and handling. love kia
April 7, 2022I’ve been driving it for 5 days. So far I really like it. I have had Toyota Camry’s for years, but the car market made it hard for me to afford one now. The Optima reminds me of the Camry only I like the body style much better. It run nicely. I am hoping it rivals Toyota for longevity. We’ll see.
July 12, 2021This car is great if you’re looking for something with a luxury feel. It had Comfort, economy, and sport driving mode and is great on gas. Updated features throughout including a back up camera and CarPlay/Google play. Would highly recommend.
April 4, 2022I purchased an Optima LX which is the base line Optima. I’m very pleased with the price and value in this car. Comparison models are the Altima, Accord and Camry.
October 12, 2021Love it. Still trying to figure out all the buttons. Love the way it drives. Very smooth ride Color is awesome inside & out
