It died within a hundred yards of the parking lot when I test drove it. It came back after I turned it off and back on, but I think the electrical harness is in need of replacement.Nov 02, 2023

I have an 05 dodge neon that wont start. The power to the starter is good. Dash lights/radio are always on, im having to unhook the battery. Will only pop start. 5 speed manual. Obviously. But I replaced the ignition switch (where the key is inserted) and no change. Its almost like its.. stuck in ACC mode. Jul 14, 2021

Yes I like they look of the car, but I did not buy it for the look. It is a good second car for me. I always felt safe in it, and it handled well. If you take care of it, it should remain a reliable car.Oct 30, 2014

It vibrates more than other cars of it's kind. Other cars of it's kind get slightly better gas mileage. But,it does save a lot in gas and it 's very reliable. The styling of the car is a bit funny but fits in with the name.May 02, 2014

The dodge Neon's where nice basic cars that had trim models that even made some of the them look cool. The low cost to maintain the Neon is helps to make the care a real deal and the fact so many where made parts are also easy to get. The only issue that some owners see is transmission issues after around 150K miles.May 17, 2013

The color and body style of the car is what caught my eye when I bought it. It has over 100,000 miles on it and we have never had any major problems with it. The reason I am looking for another car is my kids are all grown and on their own, I am currently separated from my husband so I want something sporty and eye catching now.Sep 10, 2012

Only reason for selling is the need for AWD! This car drives like new, fast acceleration, comfortable ride and plenty of room. Definitely a sporty looking car! Great Gas Mileage! Very clean! Fun to drive! Has been very dependable for my family!Nov 19, 2010

Great car! Automatic! Lasts forever as long as you take care of it! Sound system is great since the car acts like a box! Seats are very soft and in great condition. Gas mileage is awesome! Can drive to the nearest corner store or across the country! Jul 31, 2010

It's a great looking car, Dodge make record sales over the 10 years that they were in production, they get GREAT gas mileage, yes theyre slow but you can make em fast by doing a simple srt4 swap, they handle great!May 06, 2010

I really enjoy this car it runs very well and I haven't had any problems with it at all. It looks good and the interior is functional. It handles nicely and is fun to drive but I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a performance car.Oct 24, 2009

Its a throw away cheap car for work that I pound alot of miles on. Over 100,000 in three years. Its orange and shiny but not the best built car. It leaks when it rains and smells like dog ass after it rains for a long period of time.Aug 31, 2009

This was my first new car purchased in March 05. Its Orange Blast metallic. 2.0 SOCH mated to an ATX. Acceleration isnt the greatest with the ATX, but the car will carve up a twisty road. Only probs. I had with it was a idle sensor and a bad injector. The car has almost 60k on it and still feels like the day I brought her home. Gas mileage is near 30.Dec 30, 2008

It drives so easy. And it's so easy on gas! I drive it every where and I couldn't be happier with it. It's very low maintanance and costs maybe 100- 150 in gas a month. I love driving this car around. I recommend this car to all my friends and family. Aug 12, 2008
