November 1, 2007The car isn't poorly built.. the only thing is paint. The Neon isn't the fastest but its fun to zip around in. It's pretty cheap not too expensive. I think this car is fun to drive. It could be worse.
July 28, 2010This car was problem free for the first 100,000 miles, but now I'm having problems with corrosion killing parts of it little by little. I do live in Michigan, so that is a problem for a lot of cars. I think this generation is the best looking Neon; the first gen was a little small and the cars at the end of the second gen had an ugly Chrysler grill. Gas mileage isn't bad, but you won't get top performance out of the car either.
July 7, 2009Cheap operation costs,easy to get parts,simplicity in design and construction. Controls are in easy reach and placed w thought. No real blind spots to complain about. The microscopic cup holders that will create a soda tsunami due to underdash placement or the center concole one that will most defeanitly start the wife complaining when you swipe it.
October 4, 2012None. It's a great car. it has every option. Traction Control, Leather seats, Leather armrest, 5 speed manual transmission, woodgrain interior trim, heated mirrors, what more could someone want out of a Neon? It's a miniature loaded Chrysler 300 M.
February 19, 20112001 Dodge Neon R/T Overall pretty good for a 4 door 4 cylinder car. Its pretty quick off the line but kinda slow on the long run. Hoping to build it up a lil bit maybe put a Turbo in it. Not a Highway car!
November 2, 2011this car is automatic. It is a good car to drive there is nothing wong with it. There is no cons. It is good looking car from the outside and inside. Its good for driving but it aint for a big family. It is a 4 door car.
September 5, 2011Its a great first time car. I love it. After 30 its pretty quick. Its a blue-ish grey color I've only seen a handleful of the same color before. Gas mileage is great about 30 to a gallon when the oil is changed (every 3000 miles). The inside is pretty nice, I try to keep it very clean.
