The 2006 Dodge Charger SRT8 is a work of art. The car looks fast standing still! The cars performance is outstanding, fast, handles well and has a ton creature comforts. Mine had every option. This car is a fantastic example of wrap outstanding performance with class. I sold it due to the 14 MPG and its need to run on premium, $100 per week to get back and forth to work was a bit much.

Fast as a cheetah, I love this car, styling is retro, performance is unbeatable, no squeaks, get 25 on highway and has 400hp, love the black on black. 3% winow tint keeps the leather cool even in the summer. Would recommend this car to anyone who enjoys driving fast and looking good.

Best performance sedan in its price class. well built, beautiful and can haul a$$! no other car provide more bang for the bucks than the Charger SRT-8. only disadvantage at this time is gas mileage. but if you're worried about mileage, the SRT-8 is not for you. best performance 4 door sedan under $45K. it's fun to drive, 0-60 in 5 seconds, leather interior, navigation, seat warmer, 0-60 timer, blue tooth wireless, internal mp3 storage. brambo big brakes. only thing this beast can't do is transform into megatron.

I love the fact that even though it's a 4-door muscle car, the 5.7L Hemi that lies underneath the hood ROARS and throws you heard back agains the headrest...even with 5 people in the car! The quality of the interior is the only thing that I complain about. I really am interested to find where American Cars get the plastic to make the interiors for their cars. Other than the interior, the car is amazing. I'd recommend it to anybody.

Engine is unbelieveable. Car is a little too heavy for the intended purpose, but its an awesome 4 door muscle car. Have had the 4000+lb boat at 170+ mph. Factory brembo brakes are nice, along with bilstein suspension. Could use a better interior

The 2006 Dodge Charger SRT-8 is a 6.1L Hemi engined sedan that looks equally at home with a night out with the family or at the drag strip. Interior is nicely-appointed with leather-bolstered suede seats with SRT-8 stitched into the seatbacks. The 6.1L Hemi purrs nicely under a hood which features a functional air scoop to push air to the hungry engine. Despite being roughly a 360-cubic inch displacement, the engine can achieve MPG as high as 27 on the highway with the variable-cylinder feature that runs the engine as a 4 or 6 cylinder when the power of the 8 is not needed. There is more than enough room for a tall person in this car to stretch out and drive comfortably. The steering-wheel mounted controls for the radio and other features are easy to operate. The optional tinted windows add an element of privacy that is lacking in other modern vehicles. The new lifetime powertrain warranty offered by Dodge is just another great reason to consider any of the Charger line for a next vehicle purchase.

I have never had any issues with this car. It gets tons of compliments, it's power for being a V6, there's plenty of room and she never lets you down. I've had this car for almost 4 years and there's never been a time that I didn't enjoy driving it.

I Loved this car! She a comfortable drive with a mean amount of power. The 5.7 V8 gave you the upper hand on most cars on the road, Passing was a breeze, I had most all stock, I put tint on her, got it removed, repeated this.. :/ She looked HOT with the 13% tint though! I put a K&N Intake, and I had her Catbacked. Sounded sooo amazing! Very roomy and comfortable for myself and passengers!

190,000 miles as of this writing. About to buy second set of brakes, and just did the struts, sway bar links and outer tie rods 2 months ago (struts & links worn, tie rods were preventative). Cheap to fix parts-wise, and since I do all my own work, I can tell you it's easy to work on, and labor in a shop should be minimal for most stuff, so don't let 'em BS you! The car has an AVERAGED 23-24 m.p.g, rides like a Benz, handling is a dream, and the Hemi's roar is intoxicating! We just came back from the Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour. It showed 291 horses at the rear wheels, which adjusts to about 375 at the flywheel. In Tennessee, I ran a Mustang up to 140 mph, and the car had more left in her, but we backed off for safety. At the autocross event the times ranged from 22.5 to 34 seconds to run the course. My best time on almost worn tires was 24.9, no cones hit. Not bad for stock and a K&N filter!

Engine: 5.7L HEMI Performance: 350HP doing the 1/4 mile in 14.4 seconds @ 97mph. This is the Daytona model and it came just as you see it! It is a blast to drive and wouldnt trade it for the world!

Having owned nothing but Camero's we bought our first Charger and will never look back, overall a very impressive car. Does however eat alot of gas if you keep your foot on the floor, but man what a car. I would rank it as one of the best cars that my family has owned, and we have owned quite a few. If you like speed real quick then get this car.

Acceleration-Not bad for a 4300lb car. Braking-Two foot-dependent settings: stop like a big car and stop like a sports car. Handling- Mercedes sport suspension makes a big car feel smaller. I'm sure it will run forever, but the interior is cheap. Absolutely awesome styling. It always looks angry, like a muscle car should. Bad at the pump, but worth it. Amazing car to own, not only for the performance, but the comfort, the ability to carry five people in style, and of course, the looks it draws.

I love my car, this car looks mean. Compared to the challenger its got more muscle if you ask me. My car has cold air intake, zoomers exhaust and a stage 2 chip. The only draw backs, this car weighs over 5000lbs, its definitly a gas guzzler and sinces the rims are 20's the tires are expensive. But not complaints here, thats what you deal with when you have an awesome car like this!

This Car has amazing acceleration and handling. We took it to a track because we know the owners and got it to 260 km! The interior is really sweet, bright red and black leather with a huge subwoofer and great sound without rattling. It sucks gas right up and takes performance gas though. Overall it is a pleasure to ride!

great acceleration, good breaks, handles like a 2 door car, no repairs needed,interior is smooth tan leather, exterior is get black with a glossy finish, good on gas 20mpg, cheap to maintain, the car is a great smooth ride and i don think i would trade it for anything else

I have owned a 06 charger for under a year, and it is definitely the 'fanciest' car I have ever owned. These cars have fantastic luxury-car class interiors, are very spacious, and have excellently cushioned ride. Now, that being said; the Dodge Charger is essentially a luxury car, far more than it is a traditional 'muscle - car'. The SXT v6 exerts 250HP, and the acceleration can be somewhat 'hard' and jumpy if you don't know what you're doing. The windows are also uncharacteristically small, and becoming accustomed to driving in tandem with the small and high windows and the powerful engine, and an overall LARGE car can be a challenge all in itself; but is certainly worth the beginning nerves. Overall a truly FUN car to drive. (fast accell to 140+, great stock stereo, and surprisingly good handling for a car so big) and it's been quite reliable for the first 83000 miles The only large concern is the insanely steep price for these cars. which averages around 30 thousand new. If possible; buy one of these cars USED. I got mine in perfect condition for the low low price of 7 thousand (ironically cash which had been saved in hopes for a mustang; but if someone offers you an entire pizza for a quarter, even if you're a calzone man... you go for it), through a family friend who worked for SIEMENS corp., as they had been using it as a company car for a year, and it was to be replaced by a different brand new car. Unfortunately the median 'used car price' is around 20 grand, so these lovely sedans are quite hard to find a good deal for. But in conclusion; the Dodge Charger; if you find a good deal, or can afford it; BUY ONE. You won't regret it. This car has something for everyone

Shes a beast. The fix to a terrible day is as simple as getting in, standing on the gas pedal and listening to her run through the gears. Been in love since the first time I sat in the drivers seat! Ive had some problems here and there mostly general wear and tear probably caused by my heavy foot but that being said Ive definitely worked on worse and much more complicated vehicle systems so all n all its been a pleasure owning one. If she blew up and burnt to the ground tomorrow Id still have nothing but good things to say about her!

I absolutely love my SRT8. It is fast, loud, and the center of attention on the highway. The only down fall is expenses and how low the front end is. I will need to repaint the front bumper and replace the plastic shroud underneath from how much it has been scraped up just parking. I highly recommend this vehicle for anyone who likes a sporty, luxurious, and very spacious 4 door car.

I love it. Runs great, looks great, tons of things that you can do to it. It has tons of room which i like, even though its a sports car. She handles great, even with the 22s. Hemi helps get her up and moving even though its a heavy car.

Has an incredibly comfortable interior, a compliment heard from passengers all the time. Despite its size it is very nimble. Despite being an 06, it still turns heads and has a presence... since installing the aggressive exhaust system. Traction control is fantastic, very impressive on its reliability. There is slight hesitation when the car attempts to accelerate after shifting to Drive from Reverse. When in "auto-stick" mode the computer will not allow the engine to red line which does limit performance at times. For anyone interested in a car with a unique design, comfortable and powerful acceleration, this is definitely the car for you!

This car handles like a dream. It's peppy, gorgeous, and comfortable. I've driven one many times and have yet to find a fault.

This car has acceptional power with great fuel economy! Spacious interior makes it a great family car but still allows for some fun and excitment.

Picked this up after returning from Korea and wanting something with some some seating capacity. I was happy to find the SRT8 Charger. For the money, you can't beat 425 HP and a 13 second 1/4 mile. 0-60 in 5 flat. Some do not like the look, I love it. Due to the proliferation of V6 Chargers, and even the occasional billy-badass R/T driver, most people assume it's much slower. It only gets about 17 mpg average, and it's not going to attack corners like a Porsche, but it does very well thanks to enhanced tuning and high-end parts from the Chrysler-Daimler SRT crew. I love the car. Lots of power, always fun to drive.

Great acceleration, great handling, great looks, great sound. A true Detroit muscle car for this century.

I love my car, had no real problems with it, very reliable. Great family car. I would definetly recommend this car if you dont move to the snow!! ugh. It handles very well when you get the need for speed.

About as modern of a muscle sedan as you'll get. 6.1 Liters of Brute Force mixed with suspension and brakes that make this 4,000lbs boat actually manageable on the back roads, while it is not destined to be a super rally car, it handles itself just as well as some twice as expensive German automobiles in the same power-category. The only thing this beauty will lack is some build-quality, which can show with time, but for the price per pony, you really cannot go wrong.

I like the reliability of this vehicle..i also love the style of this car and what she has to offer for the price..the mileage is pretty low for that year, and she's a road horse..the only thing negative i would say is that if your afraid to drive, then this car isn't for you.

Overall the best all american car no other car can beat its performance, looks and performance is over all superb. Its a little heavy on pocket but hey...when u love something u don't care about money. Fun, adventure, thrill has only one synonym "CHARGER".

Torque and horsepower are pretty good. The suspension is great. Decent interior. 18 mpg, when you don't baby the pedal. 9 fun factor on a 1 to 10 scale. It will go through tires quite easily, I don't know what a new tire would run a fellow either.

This is a fun car to drive. It is a glorified sedan but I like the fact that it is a full size 4 door. It can fit my friends in and yet is still sporty and can burn rubber with 350 hp. I put a hidden hitch on and can even tow 2000 lbs!

Beautiful ride, comfortable, fast, handling is a big mushy and it rides very high, but did i mention that it's fast? gas is not as bad as i thought it would be for a V8 if I'm not to aggressive with the throttle.

My husband has a 2006 Charger SRT8. I love driving it. He traded a Sport Trac for it, but had previously owned an F150 Lightning. Though the blue Lightning was beautiful, this car tops it by far. Quicker, more room, and just a little meaner looking. It puts other drivers in their place when they have no idea what an SRT8 is. It's very roomy and I love the fact that it has 4 doors because the kids go in and out, no problem. I love the deep sound of the exhaust, and it handles beautifully.

This was impressively fast and really fun to drive. It will, however, stall and make you look like an idiot if you put regular gas in the tank. My first reverse-three-sixty on dry pavement was in this car, enough said.

Good for an older model Dodge Charger good experience with the car

Everything about this vehicle is nothing but great. It has become my peice of art and it keeps getting better. Skys the limit from the after market stereo , aftermarket headlights, aftermarket taillights to the grille and performance chip, and breaking drilled/slotted rotors and ceramic pads.

Like the motor, looks good, plenty of space. Dislike mpg, curb weight, no manual tranny. I would recommend this car to my friends looking for a powerful & great looking v8. Maintenance can get expensive but if you shop smart it won't be so bad.

i like the acceleration and the speed gauge

A real head turner and an unusually good all around vehicle. For the money, it cannot be beaten. Great when driving slow and even better when asked to run. Almost seven years now and with 47000 miles still as distinctive as ever. I rather like it better than the newer Charger to be honest. A set of tires and rear brakes and that is all maintenance wise. GREAT CAR!

Roomy, good mileage, nice and smooth ride, perfect car for a daily commuter or even a family car. Only downside is that it does not have the power of a Hemi, but at the end of the day we will end up at the same place.
