I bought the car because of the 4-wheel drive and black leather seats. I should have heeded friends' advice to go with a Japanese make because the Passat has ended up being a clunker. Pile o' parts. Avoid like the plague.Dec 17, 2014

Too many parts, special expensive fluids, sealed transmission, a little over priced, does not hold value as it should over time. Safety is great has many air bags, but not a lot of room in back for passengers if driver and pasenger are over 5'-4".Oct 09, 2012
