Extremely clean interior with the exception of one tear in the drivers seat, made me want to buy this vehicle. The interior felt new. No stains, not even dirt. The exterior had been repainted at one point, albeit well done. The listing says no accidents but it had a minor cosmetic rear impact in 2014 (no big deal) and unfortunately also had a tree branch fall on the sunroof shattering the glass and, despite being repaired, leaving it inoperable at least consistently. When I tested the sunroof, it wouldn't close because broken glass particles were in the way. Those were cleaned up and the dealer says it’s functioning now, but you take on some risk. Not the end of the world. If I purchased this vehicle, I’d pull the fuse that operates the sunroof and leave it in the closed position. It drove smooth, drivetrain felt great, smooth transmission, alignment, breaks, suspension.
May 21, 2026I love pretty much everything about this SUV- it has been my dream car for many years and I finally got one and enjoy every minute in it!!! It drives incredibely smooth and handles great, especially compared to other SUVs!
January 26, 2012In doing research into my next vehicle, I found almost unanimous praise for the RX series from Lexus. I know 3 people with these vehicles, and none would even consider selling their RX. And with their reliability, they probably won't have to.

May 6, 2014I’m the lady that purchased the rx300 with over 216,000 miles, it wasn’t a car, it was the SUV, and I saw the body change didn’t change much from 2006 . My vehicle looked like new when I washed it myself with dawn dish liquid and water , soaped it down, hose rinse , then soft dry auto towel, it shined like new. Leather tan interior, beautiful sunroof, state of the system direction and 5 cd changer system. All operational. I don’t want anything but a Toyota, that vehicle proved a lot to me. We went all out of town twice a week in that vehicle and it never abandoned me, always worked.
September 25, 2024comfortable leather front seats. rear seat room for 3 (slim) adults (or 2 adults and 1 child). Plenty of cargo space. Great visibility from driver seat. Very Reliable car,..not much maintenance needed besides oil change. power windows, sunroof, moonroof.
August 25, 2014This suv is a great car. If you want a nice looking, good performing, car for work or for yourself, and you don't want to spend over 30K on a new car, then this car for you. I have one in black which I got for 14K. It has 6 cylinder 3.0L, the engine and has been used overseas in industrial and commercial applications. I have made a few modifications to increase overall hp, I changed tail lights and I bought the new tires. The ride on this car is excellent for suv. This car is a beauty! The Lexus suv quality is still in play with this car. The interior looks awesome, and well built...unlike Nissan Murano or Ford Escape. I get 25-27 city mpg's, and 28-32 highway mpgs on this suv. In conclusion, if you want a beautiful looking car inside and out, of good quality, with a comfortable ride, a workhorse of an engine then go for this LEXUS RX 300.

July 6, 2021Very nice vehicle, tho on the high end, especially being the Coach Edition. Comfortable on long drives, very smooth on the highway, and extremely quiet for an SUV. The sound system is incredible! Excellent acceleration, and braking is more than adequate.
October 29, 2012This car has excellent acceleration. It drives like a dream. It is wonderful on long trips, comfortable front seat and back seat as well. Great on gas in town and highway miles. Has huge back cargo area to throw kids surf boards and soccer balls.
September 1, 2012Very potent MZ-series V6 engine with a healthy output of 220 ponies......offering the best of both worlds thanks to uni-body construction....Off-roading capability hampered by lack of low-range transfer case and lack of wheel travel
