I was terrified having bought my van when it had 50k miles on it and having done Zero research. But in the 8 years I had it, it only left me along side the road once. I was terrified due to all the issues I read that they had.. Common issues that transmissions... A/C began leaking into the first year. I never fixed it and never found the leak. I did a LOT of heavy towing with the van with an overloaded Popup Jayco. I also had my KTM 400MXC on a trailer hitch rack. I've read that the Transmissions on these vans are infamous. I never had one issue. I did have issues with the sliding door rollers.. Even had a door fall off once and gouge the heck out of my paint. The lever that opens the back hatch broke around 100k miles and most annoying the latch on the driver's side broke causing me to have to roll down the window and open the door from the outside. I never had an issue with overheating, which apparently is a common issue. At 60k miles I had a wheel bearing go out and it was my first realization that NO ONE, other than online carried parts for these cars. I had to order a new spindle and bearing set online and have it shipped to me. EVERYTIME I had new tires put on the van the tire shop would break a nug nut post. At first I was pissed because I thought the tire guy was just an idiot. After the 3rd set of tires I realized they're just junk. In all the time I owned my van, I never did anything but put tires on it and change the oil.. Well and the occasion windshield wiper. I got 20mpg consistently. I really wanted to change the wires, but at $160 per side, I never did. Sadly, my van was recently totaled by a snow plow at 145k miles and I'm sad to see it go. It, apparently, was the only non-lemon of the bunch.Feb 13, 2015

Not much, surprinsly great handling for a minivan, hugs the road & keeps me in control at all times, feels great, comfort levels are great with the Captain Bucket seats & 3rd row, everyone gets a seat & when not traveling with entire family the 3rd row folds down for extra storage,we loved it.Aug 14, 2014

Overall this car was fine for the first year, then things started happening. The dealer we bought it from went out of business, then the next closest one to our home also went out business. now I have to drive at least 20 miles for any service. however, service at the dealer is so expensive I try to do most of it myself. almost all the interior and exterior parts are made from very cheap plastic so i have had to replace door handles and trim and many things keep breaking. this van is now 10 years old and we only have 70K miles but it looks like it has 300K. very unhappy with this van, never going to buy a Kia vehicle ever againJan 10, 2012
