Seats are comfortable. Able to carry most things I needed in the trunk. Liked the push button start. Roof goes up and down with button as well. Holds the road and brakes well. Good looking car with low mainenance costs.Jul 01, 2014

This Vehicle is an absolute beast, It can beat many 6cyl. cars and some 8cyl. as well.
It looks great from the outside and its lowerred just right. the inside is clean and confortable aswell roomy for two grown adults.Oct 03, 2012

Easily the most fun car I've owned..... I moved on to a 987 Boxster S, Focus ST (280bhp), V8 M3 and Audi S4 after the Honda and none of them have come close to the fun had behind the wheel of the S2000. Dec 12, 2011

Have owned for four seasons, longer than any other sports car. There is really no better alternative for the money. May buy a newer year, but S2000 is the best from Honda since the NSX. It is an ideal car for the weekends on sunny Summer daysOct 30, 2011

Hum............... performance is questionable on it. its not as fast as my R but still gets up there,
all it really needs is more torque performance wise.
and more room in the cabin and in the trunk. other then that theres really nothing i dislike about it.Dec 07, 2009

Absolutely the most fun car I've ever driven. It is what a car should be, everything you need and nothing you don't. It may not be the fastest car on the road, but I guarantee you will be hard pressed to find one that is more fun.Oct 08, 2009

This car is amazing. Corners like a slot car. For what it is it gets up and goes. It might only run a 13.9-14.0 but it traps as fast as any Evo/STi and its an n/a 2 liter Honda. Makes a glorious battle cry as whoever is next to you shifts at 6-7 whilst you rev it out to 9 grand. The build quality is as can be expected from Honda. The car has some pretty amazing lines to it, the front fenders tower over the wheels and have an extremely low and wide stance. This car still retains the economy of a Honda achieving almost 28mpg on the highway.
All in all, you can buy one used for under 12k in good condition with relatively low miles. It will out perform many cars twice as expensive completely out of the box and it has the same cost of ownership as a civic. Definately a car one should at the very least drive, if not own, at some point in their life if they are a true racing enthusiast.Jul 24, 2009

At 145k the car is running great! No major mechanical
issues, change fluids = most service the s2000 needs
Performance - great but who doesn't want more? Best
gear shifter in the business
25mpg - but only 13 gallon tank
Extremely fun to drive

I like everything about this car. It's fast, fun, and beautiful. This is purely a sports car. Best vehicle I've ever own. The engine is exciting when it sings. Best looker when top is down. This is not just a car..it's a yard stick. Wish it was a 3.0 instead or a 2.0 though. But who cares...it's a Honda.(reliable)Mar 17, 2009

The most significant sports car/roadster for it's price
class. I've actually autocross the car. So, I know some
of its capabilities. It's the best handling car I've driven
so far. It's an uncompromising sports car. However,
it's still relatively cheap to own unlike may other
sports cars. The build quality is good and it's been

Its just a blast really. Plenty of power when you need it, but can still be driven conservatively enough to get halfway decent gas mileage. It handles like you're on rails, stops on a dime etc. Nevermind cruising around with the top down - that's a whole new pleasure all in itself.Apr 27, 2008
