Reliable car that is reasonably priced in the used car market. upscale feature for a 15 year old car. It's very roomy for passengers. Kids like the reclining rear seats. Trunk space is better than average. Visibility from the drivers seat is exceptional. Feb 28, 2015

Lovely car. Very spacious. Smooth ride. Not too bad on gas. The high mileage was never a problem. Even with 185K it runs like brand new. the back row is great for 2 child car seats. Otherwise can fit 4 people. Jun 15, 2014

I love driving this SUV crossover! It has plenty of cargo space and it is fully equipped with options such as sunroof, CD, climate control, leather, power everything, tow package, roof rack, and much more! There is nothing this Lexus cannot do. All around bang for your dollar! Lexus is the way to go!Apr 25, 2013

Other than the cost of fuel for ALL of us...this is a wonderful vehicle for the owner. Low maintenance costs, handles like a champ, comfortable to drive, and has given No Major mechanical issues in 10 years!! Not much on the acceleration/or speed racing tip...but, again, its an SUV Nov 29, 2012

This is a wonderful suv. The fuel efficiency and handling may not be great, but the cargo space is amazing. The car is very reliable and the interiors look great. The car's ride is very smooth. It does not let any road noise get in.Oct 02, 2012

Lexus lives up to its reputation and then some. Nothing compares in an SUV for ride/comfort/handling. I am a Lexus fan from now on. buying a Lexus ES 300/330 soon. How do you spell LUXURY????? Good luxury ride. reasonable power. Good mountain car. Nice stereo, loaded for not much $$. Car has a flawed AWD transmission design. $3800 to rebuild. OUCH. Hope to squeeze another 100k+ out of it with that invested. Shares engine, parts & chassis with Camry. My wife likes this car. Jun 06, 2011

Clean, quiet, smooth, Dependable.
Performs nicely with the 3.0 6 cyl. toyota engine. Replaced window solenoid/ motor..have done all scheduled maintenance..and runs like a top.
Gas mileage is not what I thought it would be for FWD...gets average of 17-18..but mostly to wrk and back driving. Apr 27, 2011

Its a good car. I got it for my wife while I was in the Marine Corps so she would have good reliyable transpo back home while i was in Iraq. Plus I worked at a local Toyota dealer for six years as a tech so if I have any proublems I can fix it quik and cheap Nov 09, 2009

I love my rx300, in the past i have owned a Toyota 4Runner, however i decided that i wanted to get a Lexus and loved it. It has way better acceleration than my 99 Toyota 4Runner, it handles way better as well. I love the sleek but rugged look that the RX has, it is my dream car.Jul 08, 2009

We call it the elephant. Kind of slow to get around, not overly agile, and wide turing radius (compared to the A3). But after 10 years is still dependable and servers as a great general purpose hauler.
Not sure I would go for the current versions. They are less SUV and more luxury than at least we need.Jul 04, 2009

Comfortable, quiet, reliable and powerful. Does everything from camping to gallery opening. Leather interior holds up well, paint is great after eight years. Sound system included is just OK. 2000 was the year right before nav system and back-up cam.Mar 20, 2009

I just love my car. It's such a great car, and so good to me :)
It has a lot of room and doesn't require a great deal of maintence.
It's very fun to take on trips with your friends because there is always room for someone, not to mention a nice trunk space for storage if you ever wish to go on a nice trip. Jan 04, 2009

I got this SUV because my son born at 2000. Need some more space for his baby stuff. Despite the 2 tons weights, the car was surprisingly maneuverable and great handling. Start from red light was surprisingly fast too. It is not a real 4WD system (no low gear transfer case), but it will haul us to ski resort without any problem. My wife crashes it. This car is STILL running well after 8 years of daily usage, and honestly it hasn't had many problems. It is a nice, small, sporty SUV, so it isn't TOO bulky or cumbersome to drive, and it doesn't have the smallness of a sedan-type car. Drives very smoothly, standard stereo system is very nice, and is roomy. The only problem I can think of it is that the bumpers kinda dent easily if you hit anything. Also, if you're trying to accelerate REALLY quickly, you'll most likely spin your tires rather than jump start off.Jun 03, 2008
