good for cruising on motorway . plenty torque when needed . build quality coulda been better when car was designed from manufacture . nice car to look at when clean lol . full blue momo leather interior . its now on 126 thousand miles . car was built to perform only in british touring car racing as it was advertised going round a track people wanted it to be brought publicly to buy so thats why it got manufactured to customers also . all in all a fun car to drive .Oct 06, 2010

in short, if U don't know how Alfa 156 looks, then U don't need me to tell U about that. anyways, here's some things about 156 -performance- it's up to U and your driving skills. 156 can go anyway U wanna go. -build quality- much better then previous generation of Alfa Romeo -appearance- beautiful...it's love at first sight -cost of ownership- i don't really care about that things. when something must be done on my car, i go to service and get that thing done. if U don't wanna spend money on cars, then don't drive it! take a cab or something....get a bike :D -fun factor-i don't need to tell anything about that, don't i? A car built with soul and passion (quoting top gear). It's a great car. It handles really well. It has a suffice amount of power for a everyday use car ( around 190 bhp, 2.5 v6). I think it looks good aswell, it's not one of those tuned cars and it doesnt look like it came out of a video game. It has a nice wooden interior. It really is a petrolheads car, you enjoy every bend and bump in the road. The suspension is firm and sporty and yet quite soft and comfortable. The build quality varies. The engine and such (important mechanical parts) are well made, but the dashboard and glovebox are awfully plasticy. The a/c takes ages to cool or heat the car. The CD player is broken and the radio isn't great. Infact it looses every single channel and playes static if you connect the rear window heater. Some squeaks and rattles here and there. the front right suspencion squeaks alot when it's cold outside. It drinks about 11l/100km if you drive normally, but I estimated it can go up to 17-18l/100km if you have fun while driving. I think it's a great car! It's fun to drive around in it. You don't have to drive to the fun, you have fun driving!Dec 02, 2009

Alfa Romeo... just saying the name brings back memories of my gorgeous red 156 2.0 TS. That car is just so beautifyl to look at, it handles well (for its size) and is reasonably fast compared to its class mates. Build quality was better than i feared, but i did have my garage visits, but all was covered on the warranty, and it was always stupid things like the airbag light that turned on for no reason. The engine worked flawlessly and with the italian stainless steel full exhaust and cat-back system it sounded awesome!Oct 10, 2008

Best roadcar I have ever owned, but it has only given me grief and lot's of expences in the shop. Always something wrong with it. Great design though, and built for fun driving. Too much electronics that fail. Shoul have had a gasmileage of 0,75 liters mer mile. But since it had problems it ran above 1.0 liters per mile. Too darn expensive to drive to work every day. Great interior design though, really race car inspired.Aug 22, 2008
